| March 5, 2007 Citizens vs. the Anchorage Assembly Bravo for your article about citizen involvement in Assembly proceedings. Its amazing how much influence a few articulate and motivated citizens can wield before the Anchorage Assembly by shining the bright light of publicity on their activities. Elected officials do not like to be publicly criticized, especially in the open by ordinary citizens who know what they are talking about. The right wing cabal which has temporarily seized control of the Anchorage Assembly would do well to remember the 1989 protest in Tiananmen Square. - Allan Tesche
