| August 19, 2005 A Letter To Benjamin Dangl Editor, I’m not impressed by Benjamin Dangl’s view and vision of Central America. A typical anarchist disguised as a writer. His type uses the poor civilian victims of corrupt dictatorships as his story lines. Fighting for every ridiculous anti-social cause in order to stir up activism and create anarchy. As a matter of fact, that’s all this and Dangl’s sites do. I’ve worked as a consultant in Central America and Mexico. I’ve also traveled through Cuba. The reason the majority of these countries have the problems and poverty are simple, they are run by corrupt governments funded by vice and drugs. Governments controlled by certain families. Generations of misguided people who look the other way out of fear or hunger. People lacking the understanding of true freedom or living the life of ‘paid for’ freedom. It’s people like Dangl who portray the USA as the root of all the problems around the world. Its pot smoking and coke snorting leftists in America that feed the corruption in Latin America, not the American people. The same leftists fund terrorism through the purchase of Afghan heroin. The same money is used to fund terrorist insurgents killing American solders in Iraq. Dangl, the cheerleader of Latin America. “Save the cocoa, rah rah. Down with USA”. Big story “Hugo Chavez goes to Iran”. “Venezuela arms its citizens in preparations for US troop arrival” What a joke. Hugo is coked out and paranoid. Further north in Mexico, whole communities along the American border are under attack by the drug cartels in police and army uniforms. In Nuevo Leon just over the border from Laredo Texas, journalists are being killed execution style; they’re changing mayors like socks. They’re whacking them too. There are even reports that some of the recent victims are literally being fed to lions. Vicente Fox is impotent. If you paint your house with water paint it will only look good until the next rain. The corruption will continue as long as the leftists are getting stoned. The drug war don’t work, it only takes down the guy at the top who is than replaced by the next lieutenant primed for the job. It’s an endless string of blood thirsty criminals. The cartels have more money than most banks around the world. With all that cash lining the pockets of police and government officials, it will never end. The cartel families and the politicians will have all the money and the poor will stay poor. Good thing they have Dangl marching with them. The cure ; make ALL drugs (marijuana too) in all 50 states a felony to possess or use. Minimum sentence, one year. ‘Supply and demand’. The cartel will fall from the top down, legitimate businesses will flourish. Poverty will shrink and true freedom will prevail. Leftists will make rehab in America a big business. Crack pipes could be recycled and will help the environment. Drug runners will be off the roads, thus using less fuel. Wanted: man in a funny hat to become next dictator. No experience necessary. Must be able to place blame firmly on the Americans. Simon Hetlyn, Coronado, CA If
