| July 21, 2006 untitled2 (a poem) by Brian Anderson, insurgent49 just once I want to be happy for Human’s prosperity that we as a species have come so far that we can build such glories understand such minute-nesses sail through invisible realities but I can’t because I see the poor buried away because I hear hunger growling and screeching because for every person who succeeds does so because ten more try, fail, and don’t get a second chance but if all that counts is the bottom line where human lives don’t matter and war continues to be more profitable than peace and stock costs mean more than a person’s child then give us all a gold star a bathroom pass and a ribbon for good participation with a thank you letter that we can give our parents |
